It’s the same old day, but with a different meaning

My day started a normally at least. I didn’t want to get out of bed, but then I remembered I had nowhere to be and couldn’t fall back asleep.

To make myself feel better I applied to a few jobs. My approach is to pick one job title per day, so I only have to customize my resume constantly. Today was “UI Developer” day and applied to all the jobs that matched me by 10:30am. I like to think that means I am diligent and productive, but reality is there are not a lot of jobs in my field. Good morning to me, America.

After that I just hot the gym. Went to my self-employed pal’s to use her apartment complex’s gym. She makes me feel like I have somewhere to be and I drag her to cardio, it’s a symbiotic relationship. I maybe jobless, but I’ll be in better shape then I have been in since my 20’s.

Now I’m watching movies with my happily employed pal who was kind of enough to order take out. Tomorrow I’m going teach myself a new programming language if I can talk myself into getting out of bed.
